I will always love to cut someone’s hair for the first time. In addition to their fascinating conversations, I enjoy learning from their hair–the way it comes out of the scalp, the way it behaves, shape of the head/face, the individuals perspective of themselves & sense of style. And each time I have to adapt my knowledge to accomplish their current desired look, whether they’ve ever had it or not.

To cut hair well, I knew I needed to narrow my practice so I could constantly improve over time. Based on the bulk of my experience, I chose to focus exclusively on masculine haircuts (primarily on caucasian heads due to natural selection–I’m not the best around at other ethnicities’ hair textures/styles) . A feminine appearance requires an entirely different skillset to obtain the varied goals befitting each style & growth pattern.
